Serena and Paul got married in a beautiful little church near Farnham followed by a fantastic reception in her parent’s back garden. The couple decorated the tables and the marquee themselves with help from family and friends – it looked amazing. And I know Serena’s parents spent a long time getting their garden looking just perfect for the day. It certainly was worth all the effort.
En route back from the church, we stopped off for a few photos in the woods and around the heather. I especially love the fact that the chauffeur driver from Surrey Cadillacs was happy to try and negotiate their 1950s peppermint Cadillac in between lots of trees to enter a clearing in the woods for a few photos. I don’t normally get that excited by cars but this one was a classic beauty from my favourite era.
The sun shone for Serena and Paul – all day long. Their day was filled with love and laughter – isn’t that what wedding days should all be about? The speeches were funny and emotional and I could tell from listening to them just how loved these two are. Thank you both for having me along, I loved being part of your special day. :)
