Back in July, I had the pleasure of attending a workshop that I had heard about and had wanted to go on for ages. The Photography Farm run by wedding photography guru Lisa Devlin of Devlin Photos and the wonderful Kat from the wedding blog Rock n Roll Bride. Not only that, it is a three day residential wedding photography workshop held on a beautiful farm in Sussex. I was so excited about going as I knew it would be a great chance to learn new things, get inspired and meet loads of great new people. And I was right. It was brilliant!
Kat and Lisa planned a few photo shoots, one of which was a Hippy Luxe theme… The models were a real couple, beautiful Rachel (Kat’s sister) and her boyfriend Jamie. Rachel wore the most incredible headpiece – I couldn’t believe how stunning and imaginative it was. There was a tipi, colourful rugs and loads of Moroccan details. It was styled beautifully. Words don’t begin to describe how out of this world the whole thing was…or how much I enjoyed it! I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.
I can’t tell you how inspired I have come away feeling. Not only about the endless possibilities of how I can develop my photographic style but also from the invaluable business advice and marketing tips. It was definatly the best business investment that I have made to date! I now have an amazing network of people I can share ideas with and turn to when I have any questions. Thank you so much Lisa and Kat. x
