So I took most of these photos in haste. I’m never completely pleased with my week-in-photos posts as I am my own greatest critic, but this week I feel like I have made a particularly poor effort. I’m not going to dwell on it. I’ve had a crazy amount of editing to do, so it’s inevitable that my priorities will make play time with my camera suffer.
I am off for a couple of days from today for the Photography Farm retreat (a group of us togs hang out, chill out and geek out) I am looking forward to play time with my camera and spending time with some super creative people. Yay! Anyway, back to this week:
Tuesday 1st October 2013 – This is Cheryl who I spotted when walking past the Caroline of Brunswick pub on Tuesday. She was working behind the bar and she kindly stepped outside so I could take a photo of her.
Wednesday 2nd October 2013 – I went into Beyond Retro on Wednesday in a rare attempt to go clothes shopping. I of course failed to buy any clothes but did manage to find a person to photograph. This is Christophe who was busy dressing mannequins when I spotted him.
Thursday 3rd October 2013 – A quick break from work and I found Yannis, and he let me take a photo of him smoking in a shop doorway.
Friday 4th October 2013 – After work, I went to an exhibition opening at Fabrica in Brighton. A bit knackered and not feeling the photo taking love, I took this quick snap of some one in in gallery. Didn’t catch his name.
Saturday 5th October 2013 – After a fairly busy summer of shooting weddings, this was one of the first Saturdays that I didn’t have a booking for. So when Lisa Devlin asked if I would second shoot for her again, I of course said yes! This is Holly, Alastair and their bridesmaids and groomsmen. One thing I like about second shooting is that the pressure is off so I can play around a bit more with the photos I take. I also like to capture different angles and in between shots like this one.
Sunday 6th October 2013 – What can I say? I day off work has made me very lazy. :) I popped over to our local farm to pick up some sawdust for our chickens and met this lovely goat. This is was all I could manage this day. Gah!
Monday 7th October 2013 – I took a brisk walk through the North Laine before work today to make the most of the gorgeous morning light. I took this photo of a nice man I met caller Aaron.
That’s it for this week. :) This has been my 40th week of this years 365 photo a day project. Thanks for looking.
